Great stay, rooms clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the 33rd floor was awesome. Staff is very friendly and proficient. I did not like the Chicken Tenders. The breading was hard and the chicken was dry.
It’s our anniversary and we are rewards members who stay at the Marriott 10-15 nights per year. This experience is terrible the room we booked 3 minutes ha ago wasn’t available so Gloria at the counter upgraded to a suite. Big suite except terrible view and a wall full size bed. Last night we asked for face cloths and hand towels and it took 1 hour and 5 minuets. Called 20 minutes after request said on the way. 40 minutes after request on the way. Finally after third call two minutes later room service. Phone is broken.
I have travelled all over the world and I must say I have never been treated so kindly as I have at the Marriott Marquis. Every single staff member has been over the top friendly. It makes me reconsider my IHG loyalty.
Huge hotel, centrally located downtown Atlanta surrounded by lots of restaurants and touristy things. Quiet rooms. Starbucks in lobby. Efficient and friendly staff. Definitely a convention hotel. Nothing special. Club lounge and its food were disappointing. Way too many TVs in the lounge so could not relax.
