Excellent in every way, Room, Food, Starbuck's, M-Store to shop! Excellent for Events (Nurse),for everyone. My Sister and myself had great week! Thanks for time to enjoy her working Conference, and still we could have one on one Sister time! Rebecca Stephens our Concierge was so helpful and Gracious. Great experience! Rooms were nice, food was good, and staff was very friendly and helpful! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to go to downtown!
Our room was disgusting and the service was terrible!! The front desk clerk and manager on duty treated us like it was our fault there was a stain on the bed sheets, nasty pillow cases, feathers on the floor and something stuck to the curtains! I'll definitely never stay here again! You expect nasty rooms and subpar service from a 1-2 star hotel not a 4 star hotel!!
DRIVERS BEWARE! This hotel was very nice (comfortable beds, nice atmosphere) but I can't bring myself to rate more than 2 stars because of the HORRID parking/valet situation. Unlike most valet services that take cars as they come in, they let cars back way up, having people park and leave while there are still several cars ahead of them. The website says that you can either valet or park in an attached garage for $20 a day. By some miracle that garage is always "full". Truly a superb experience. I have also had the pleasure of dining at the restaurants and I must say, the food is delicious.
To any and all who read my review on the 9th of September, I was in error. I had no contact as a customer with the Marriott this year. My apologies, the error has been corrected.
Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Please send my love and compliments to all the hard work from cleaning, desk crew, security and more! I had a wonderful time, and you all were so patient and gracious.
Second year at dragon con, for an event this size, the staff handle this like champions. Housekeeping does an exceptional job of keeping us supplied and working around our crazy con schedules.
The customer service at this establishment is the worst I've ever seen. We always stay at Marriott but we will never stay here again. We were there a second time last weekend for free through marriott after our first fiasco with them in march. We had the worst stay on our anniversary in march of last year so they asked us to give them a second chance to make up for it, they blew it. The second time around was worse than the first. I definitely do not recommend Atlanta Marriott Marquis. They do not care about you at all.
