I'm leaving a review here at the BBB because I am very pleased with the price, service and risk of having Smith Thompson (ST) installed in my home. We had an existing system and ST installed keypad and control panel for free, I needed another keypad and it was only $39. Great, great, deal considering the very low monthly install and no contract is required. The tech guy who came out was great, got the system going, helped us with an option we selected (phone app) and overall left a great impression on ST. Low price and no co... read more

The technician showed up on time, he was very polite and made quick work of the job. He even helped us tweak the settings on the system to fit our needs. He explained how the system worked, and made sure I understood everything I needed to know. He was great about answering questions. After the install, we've had the alarm go off a couple times and the company is great, they call me right away to check in and make sure everything is okay, even in the short exchanges we have, they are very nice and polite. We are new to the DFW area and our neighbor suggested we call Smith Thompson. I did some research and they seemed to be the least expensive option of the companies in my area. A service technician came out to the house a few days later, checked all the alarms and installed a wireless system. The tech was friendly and efficient hour. I can see why several neighbors also use them.
