We finally changed security systems after my brother highly recommended Smith Thompson. We are so glad we did - the technician who installed our system, Justin Hamel was awesome, very efficient, friendly and very patient in instructing us about the new system. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. Every phone call I have made to Smith Thompson has been answered promptly and courteously. I would highly recommend this company - for their great customer service and very reasonable prices.

ST technician arrived on-time for our residential conversion from another monitoring company. Efficient install, maintained wireless connectivity (only), and offered smart-phone app for a reasonable adder per month. Flawless operation, and in-state monitoring at a lower cost than prior provider makes ST a no-brainer decision. Call them.

We do our own monitoring here locally, and do not sell or subcontract your account out of state, which is unfortunately typical in our industry. This does in fact speed things up in an actual emergency! We appreciate your kind comments...and your business!
They did what they do, and it was what I requested. We cut the cords on our house phones and wanted 'wireless' monitoring, The company we were with wanted more money per month and another 300+ to upgrade. ST came out, did the install, no muss, no fuss. There was an up front fee and our annual charge, but for the service provided, it was much more reasonable. We feel like we got what we asked for.
Smith ******** technician Jason L was punctual, knowledgeable, efficient, and answered all my questions. I also talked with a representative at the Houston office who was professional and helpful with my questions about their service. What I liked about Smith ******** is that it is a family owned business since the 70s with a commitment to rates of $16.95 for monitoring service with no contract. WOW is the word that I use when I think of Smith Thompson Security. We had them over to install in December, and have had excellent service for all of our questions and service needs since! We had a few concerns with the install and Mark Thompson himself has been assisting me with all questions since the install. He has been thorough, patient and very informative with all of my questions. I have referred several people since the installation. Very happy with this service!
