I called Smith Thompson on the advice of a neighbor, who uses their service. He said it was the least expensive option of the companies that service our area. A service technician came out to the house a few days later, replaced our keypad and the circuit board in our data room, checked all the alarms, added two motion detectors and finished up in less than an hour. Yes, when a system is either older or just not compatible for whatever reason, all we usually have to do is swap the control board out (and sometimes the keypad) which only takes less than an hour in most cases...and is very inexpensive. All of this is nothing major and normally we don't even have to do this, but sometimes. This totally updates your system and makes it much easier to service in the future! We appreciate your trust and your business!
We recently switched from ADT to Smith Thompson and were so impressed- we only wished we had done it sooner! They were so friendly and easy to work with and we were blown away by their pricing! We saved so much by switching!

We recently switch from ADT, who's is just awful, to Smith T******* and thus far it has been a much better experience. The install technician was professional, knowledgeable, and ON TIME! You can't beat the cost, you cant beat the service, and even better you can't beat the fact that they are Texas born. It must be why they are better than their national competitors.

Smith Thompson Home Security made my transition from ADT very easy. I made an appointment for the technician to come to my home, he was very polite and knowledgeable and explained everything he would do to change my system over. The company office was very friendly and organized. They came out in a timely manner, gave recommendations in changing from one security system to Smith & ********. The technician explained the system very efficiently, but also left pamphlets as back ups later. I would highly recommend Smith & ********. Can't be the price.

Smith Thompson Home Security recently came out to install a wireless (not requiring use of a telephone land line) alarm system in our home. Only positive things to share about the technician who came to my home for the install. He was a little early and did call to make sure that was alright, which it was. I love that Smith ******** doesn't require you to sign your life away to get service (like other companies that require a 3 year contract or $500 cancellation fee, etc). It really is easy to set up service, and to cancel if you need to - truly no strings attached. And cheaper than other companies to boot!
