I was having an alarm system installed in my new apartment. My card was ran before I was informed of the details of approval. it wasnt until after the fact that I was informed that credit check was being done. Use bullying tactics to try to get you to pay more than is necessary. Make scheduling appointments very difficult. Terrible customer service. They should not be allowed to operate a business.
Horrible! They came to my house and didnt even asked for the homeowner(me).I had a sick family member that had just had a stroke and the mind wasnt really there due to damage in the brain and they convinced him to sign a contract. I had no clue of none of this. They apparently came to put oil without my permission or authorization. Now they are suing us. My heater just started leaking hot water everywhere and the heat is not working. When I called Slomains, I was told they would send someone after 8am tomorrow. Thats over an 8 hour wait! My house floor will be ruined and I was told there nothing they can do. The representative that answered the call (*****), seems more annoyed with me calling to bother him, than with my actual issue of hot water leaking on the floor and no heat in my house. I had a contract sent to me. I revised and never responded. They kept calling me to get the oil delivered. I NEVER REQUESTED to have oil delivered, never had a delivery made by them and when I called back their secretary said they are not asking me, they were telling me they are coming to fill up my tank & if I postpone more than 3 times they will mail me a $500 bill. Theyre super nice when they wanna sign you up. The man told me that they would only fill 150 gallons of my 270 gallon tank because I would not be able to afford a full delivery. They made a full delivery and are not letting me pay it off. They were so nice trying to get me as a customer and as soon as they had me, they turned into complete jerks. I have had Slomins for 3 years now and never had a burner issue..then my burner started blowing off hot water from the pressure relief valve..I called for service to replace the valvethey came and replaced it. Then I get a bill in the mail for $391.00.this valve is covered under my contract but they say no the part you can buy yourself at ********** is only $14.50 and took the service man 15 minutes to replace it but they say they will get back to me I spoke to several people that pretty much have no knowledge of how a burne... read more
Give oil you don't need Charge ridiculous prices My oil tank was full and they claim they put oil in the tank Charging me $600 They are more expensive than most oil companies
Terrible Company that doesn't care about their customers. I was an alarm customer for 5 years and they had the nerve to charge $90 to enable the monitoring to keep active, even though the cause for this was their fault and I had a contract guaranteeing monitoring.Also, the oil prices are arbitrary and high. Also, their customer service people are rude and obnoxious.
