Their billing office is totally unorganized. I cancelled my contract in February 2025. They were scheduled to clean my furnace after my renewal date, so I cancelled the furnace cleaning that I already paid for. Their oil is way overpriced. Once I cancelled my service (to prevent from having to pay for another 1 yr contract), they also cancelled my online account where I was making payments. I had an mini split system installed by Slomins. The work and system was great. the experience after was terrible. They quoted me $13550. I asked the sales *** to reduce it to 13K even. He agreed and then never updated the paperwork. The bill came and it was the first amount. This is a very deceptive business practice and shows what they will do. I will be cancelling my contracts with them because they will not stand by what their sales *** quoted.

I have a Slomins security system. When one of the sensors stopped working, I replaced the battery, but the problem persisted. I called the company and was told that a technician visit would cost /$85. I responded that it was unfair to charge me for service when their monitoring equipment was faulty. They offered me an alternative: if I signed up for a one-year contract extension, there would be no charge. Review for Slomins *********** (***********):I do not recommend Slomins at all. I was a customer for several years, and the only reason I stayed that long was because I never had any issues with my boiler, and the oil tank was easily accessible. I have had ******** for almost 4 years, and I have received the worst service this year. My security camera never works. The sole purpose of having the system is to secure my home, and having the camera lets me see what is happening in front of my home, protect my packages from theft, and add an extra layer of security. The last 30 days, I've had to call in to complain about my camera at least once a week. I get a tech to come out only for the camera to stop working a week later. I would give zero stars if I could. I have a service contract with Slomins. Last week, my heat exchanger had a pinhole leak. Called them to come take a look. When the service guy gets here he barely looks at for a few seconds and said it wasnt covered under the contract and we need a plumber. He tried to leave with water spraying out of the boiler. He then gave my husband and I such a hard time when we asked him to give us more details on our contract, and how much it would cost to repair or replace the heat exchanger. He le... read more

I was both a customer and an employee of this horrid company. I experienced the way they treat their customers from both ends of the equation. Ownership believes that they're better than others because they have money and they really don't care about their employees or their customers for that matter. I once was told to tell a woman who didn't have heat upstairs in their kids room to have their kids sleep downstairs because they couldn't get to them for 4 days. What kind of nonsense is this? Should have an option for zero stars. We've been in ******* since late December. Had someone check my house and the boiler was off. Turns out there was no oil in the tank. When customer service finally answered they said it was because I had a gate when they went to deliver. Too big to care about the little people. They performed my annual boiler cleaning on 1/17/2025, which had zero problems for years. Within 2 hours of leaving, the temperature in my house was 76 degrees. I called and they said to turn off boiler and restart to see if that fixes the problem. It has not. So my boiler is constantly burning oil at $3.59 a gallon. I called several times and they said they can't get a service technician out to my house until 1-30-2025.
