I delivered my baby here and I can't explain how amazing my visit has been. My baby has been in the nicu for 5 days and those nurses in there have been nothing but amazing to me and my baby girl! Despite one nurse being rude and the lactation nurse being rude and act like they didn't care I've had a great experience! I can't thank the nurses enough for what they are doing for my baby girl. Well so far we have been here two hours. My son bit a laundry pod and poison control told me to come. I'm trying to be patient because I work in health care too. Seriously thou this place is ridiculous. And its incredibly dirty the waiting room has nasty used tissues all over the floor. They said 6 people were ahead of us and 8 people have been called. He's 18 months and poison control told them we were coming. Bullshit
One could die sitting in waiting area! Child with history of head trauma and they wonder why she is complaining that the bright lights bother her.... Triage nurse overly rude insisting that ALL THE LIGHTS NEEDED TO BE ON- WTF? Oh.... Still sitting and waiting after 1:30 min. Thank god it wasn't as bad as last time. Do NOT think I will return after this. Very poor service.
Delivered my first baby november 2015, Felicia the nurse in delivery was amazing! Made me feel comfortable, was very upbeat, great attitude and helped me through my 20 hour labor! All the nurses during my stay were very friendly and helpful! Also love my obgyn dr. Gress and Julie p.! Definitely would recommend this hospital to deliver your baby at!
The ER staff is nice but the waiting time sucks!!!
I just delivered my 2nd baby at Silver Cross(delivered my 1st baby there too) and I'm so thankful for the all around great staff! The nurses on the birthing floor are outstanding and do such an incredible job! Thank you for taking such great care of me and my baby!
The ER staff is extremely rude, after telling me one thing, they didn't do what they said. Taking 6 nurses to hold down my 3 year old son to stitch him who is autistic, absolute bull shit, telling me he won't remember it. Really? After hearing him scream bloody murder for already being in pain, I complained and they told me to leave. Wtf is that? Do yourself a favor, go to St Joe's, at least their they're compassionate.
After being misdiagnosed over and over again in their ER never receiving a bill on time they decide to send their bills in for collections this is the way Silver Cross hospital decides to do business never contacting the customer but attacking the customer
