Although the lady bartender was very rude to me, I gave her a tip anyway because the front desk personnel made my wife and I feel welcomed and happy to be there. Our check in time was 3 o clock and we arrived from the airport a few hours early. We were immediately accommodated with a room, and when the desk clerk realized it was my wife's birthday she sent up a complimentary bottle of wine. The doormen were also all so friendly. You’d think after a major snow storm that shut down most of New England they would have some level of sympathy or provide a little bit of customer service and change a reservation but no. I was told I am paying for the room whether I use it or not this weekend. I tried to call and get a manager but was instead bounced around to multiple people before being hung up on.. This hotel was absolutely spot on for our short break in NYC. The perfect location on Canal st meant with could get anywhere we wanted with ease! Loads of places to eat out and drink near by in a very cool neighbourhood! Can’t wait to return to this hotel
