Dr. Carter came highly recommended and now, as I begin my hip replacement recovery, I totally understand why. His manner is focused and understanding. He listens to you and ensures your complete care. His skill is outstanding. The nurses all speak very highly about him and nurses always know! I am deeply grateful for being hip pain free. Just do everything he tells you. Like me, it may be your first hip operation but it is not his first rodeo!
Dr. Carter is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Texas. I had Bilateral hip surgery in late April, 2018. I had advanced osteoarthritis of the hips. I went to see several other quality surgeons in the Austin area, but none of them compared to Dr, Carter. He is precise about what he does, and is attention to detail, and intelligence, and skill are the reasons why he is one of the best in Texas. He also has a great deal of personal pride in his work and seems to truly care about his patients.
Dr. Carter is great! If you want the best, He's your surgeon.
Dr. Carter came highly recommended to me by others that had already worked with him. Ten years ago, he did a Birmingham HIp Resurfacing on my hip which is doing great. Last year he replaced both of my knees and I have had no trouble with them and I'm back to hiking and volunteering as a large dog walker at a local shelter. Dr. Carter is a very experienced surgeon and he has a wonderful staff. I highly recommend him.
I have been told by many friends that if you needed either hip or knee surgery, you must visit with Dr. Carter. My friends were right. Dr. Carter is not only very professional and knowledgeable, but he also cares very deeply about each individual patient. I recently had knee replacement surgery. Every aspect of the process was done flawlessly. It is obvious to me that Dr. Carter insists on excellence. I recommend Dr. Carter and his wonderful staff without reservation. They are the best.
Excellent surgeon. Have had hip resurfacing and knee surgery done by Dr Carter. Hip resurfacing is a difficult surgery. Both joints are pain free and functioning perfectly. Recovery time was short. His staff is courteous and helpful. I cannot say enough how good this surgeon is. You won’t be disappointed.
Dr. Carter and his staff are very thorough and professional but more than anything extremely caring and attentive to patients concerns and needs, spending whatever time is necessary to answer all questions.
This facility is wonderful, the staff is friendly and organized. I recently changed from another doctor because a friend told me about Dr. Carter and I am so glad I did. The drive is further but so worth it!
The very best doctor. He thinks of everything, for example, prescribing and having me bring a special salve to the hospital to use while I recover, which helps prevent staph infections.
