Dr. Shaffer is very friendly and knowledgeable. He takes time to explain procedural results and answer questions. I was very pleased with my visit.
All of the staff at Dr Shaffer’s office were very friendly and helpful. Dr Shaffer explained my condition to me in a way that I could understand. He answered all of my questions and made me feel confident that my situation was under control.
I had an emergency situation on a Sunday morning. Unfortunately, this occurred during the coronavirus outbreak. It was not easy to secure a room in the hospital. Dr. Shaffer's correspondence was excellent. He kept me apprised of the ER status and we were able to get the procedure done in a timely matter. I owe him a debt of gratitude.
Dr. Shaffer is an awesome person and great doctor.
Dr. Shaffer has been my gastroenterologist since 2006. His professional skills and bedside manner are impeccable. He listens to my needs and provides necessary treatment as well as encouragement. I do not hesitate in recommending him to family and friends.

I specifically asked for Dr. Shaffer after meeting him when he treated my husband. So I already had a good impression. My own experience with him and the clinic has been the best medical experience I've ever had - from making the appointment up to and including the message to checkup on the aftermath - everyone friendly and caring; no one taking for granted the patient knows the routine/jargon. Dr. Shaffer taking the time to come to say hello before and talking through the results after was golden.
