I can't emphasize enough how negative this experience was. I had what turned out to be Gastric Arrythmia causing me to throw up daily for months and lose weight. Whilst this dr. did make an effort to see me quickly & performed a colonoscopy & endoscopy on me efficiently, his 'bedside manner' and overall personality was the worst I've encountered. When I told him I couldn't swallow antibiotics because of throwing up he shamed me, he asked my friend if I was anorexic, he incorrectly diagnosed me without looking further & as a ... read more

My procedure, upper endoscopy, on 4 June 2020 was very successful. I am most thankful to Dr. Shaffer and also to each and every one of his professional staff for their utmost focus shown from the minute I walked into the office and was greeted in the reception area. seems like you are only there for a few minutes. i know its longer but the sedation they use now days is heaven.
Going to the doctor is not one of my favorite things to do and I'm sure is the same for many others. However, filling out what needed to be completed before I went for my procedure was easy on line. The procedure went smoothly and Dr. Shaffer has a great sense of humor and visits you after your procedure to tell you the results. This makes the procedure easier to deal with.
Dr. Shaffer has a wonderful bed side manner. He explained things well and was easy to talk with once the procedure was complete.
Dr shaffer is very professional and his staff is friendly and polite and dr shaffer explains things in detail and in a profesional manner i would recommend him im very satisfied
