Dr. Schaffer and staff worked very professionally on my behalf
This is the BEST run office, staff I’ve ever been to. Dr Shaffer is great, and you can see the staff is just as professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I have had multiple visits here and each time was exactly the same. Perfect. My wife told me on our last visit how amazing this office was. I highly recommend it to my friends and family.
Dr Shaffer is always pleasant to be with and very informative about my conditions. I can't say enough good things as his gifted diagnostic skills literally saved me from a life threatening bout of esophageal cancer.
I love Dr Shaffer. I was a GI mess when we met. He was so nice to me and worked to get me back on track. He is funny and has a way to make visits easy and relaxed. I never feel rushed when at appointments. He’s a regular guy. I’m blessed he is part of my medical team.

Dr. Shaffer has always spent the time I need for my visits. I never feel rushed. He makes sure I understand what is going on with my condition and makes the uncertainties and fear that I sometimes have go away. My husband and I were impressed with his genuine caring from the first time we met him. I had an emergency one time and he immediately saw me and made sure I got the care I needed. I drive about 45 miles to see him because of the trust I have in him.
My husband and I have seen Dr. Shaffer on different occasions (one very recently). You will not find another Gastro Dr. as nice and professional as Dr. Shaffer. His office personnel are the best! Dr. Shaffer always discusses whats going to happen and I am in and out! We both, highly recommend Dr. Shaffer. :)
Experienced Patient-concerns: No private room during prep, my partner was not allowed(no assistance undressing or to complete paperwork); rushed, then wait over 2 hours -wheeled into hallway wait again. Observed sleeping patient roll out of treatment room, no sterilization of room/floor prior to next patient. Techs equal to NASCAR pit crew changing equipment. Dr. did not talk to me prior, techs were rude, and then again rushed post. Office appears motivated by number of patients to clear profit
