Dr. Shaffer, as usual, was his jovial self and also prompt in his analysis. I just hope not to see him again under these circumstaces.
I'd give Dr Shaffer 6 stars if available. He's outstanding in every sense of the word. He's helped me manage GERD for 7 years and counting with virtually no side effects.
Dr Shaffer and his staff were competent, efficient and very friendly in conducting my colonoscopy. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would use him again myself.
Dr Shaffer and the entire staff were first class. Appointments were on time, and Dr Shaffer took the time to explain my diagnosis fully and I was provided complete documentation of the procedure and results.
Excellent Doctors and staff eased procedure anxiety. All pre procedure questions answered in full with post procedure review. The only unpleasant, but necessary, event was the prior 24 hour pre procedure preparations.
Everything about this surgery was excellent from beginning to the end. The hardest part was getting ready for it!!
If there can be a pleasurable doctor visit, Dr. Shaffer can accomplish that for you. I can only hope that others that might be looking for a mentor find, listen and learn from Dr. Shaffer. I had a colonoscopy as well as five endoscopic procedures in an 8 month period. Not one time was I uncomfortable or disappointed with the result. In my opinion he is a genuinely good person with the patients well being his priority.
I was referred to Dr. Shaffer for a procedure . I was impressed with the staff that I spoke with on the phone, those that I came into contact with and also the facility where the procedure was carried out. Everyone was friendly, professional and I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable. Dr Shaffer spent time with me before and after the surgery and answered questions. He is friendly, professional and I found him willing to discuss any concerns and I would highly recommend him.
He was late and didn’t show any courtesy. I was only a number.
