I have left many messages to get my report from a heart CT scan sent to me. Now waiting over a month. NO ANSWER NO CONTACT. LEFT MESSAGE AFTER MESSAGE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Update: a day after this post Seton called and the issue was resolved .

Discuss charges first before sending the bill
So far, I have been happy with the doctor and nursing care. I'm used to being the advocate for my loved one, so I am not surprised that I am the one that has to remind his care team of the information on his history in his file, despite asking every healthcare worker to please pass this particular piece or information along. What is shocking to me is that the hospitalist laughed out loud and derided the healthcare advice I'd been given by another professional IN FRONT OF MY loved one. My wife and i have only used Seton Hospital in Austin twice. And twice they have botched the billing to the tune of THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. (Read to the second case - it's a REAL doozy). BTW, I'm VERY well insured and was IN-NETWORK both times (so these are tales of incompetence). The first time, we came in for an emergency room situation but were never triaged before leaving (false alarm). Because we had "checked in", they attempted to bill us $500 for services never actually received (remember: not even triage occurred). But... read more
Let me start out by saying what a great experience I had when I was an inpatient here. Their attention to my needs and comfort was fantastic.... and then I was discharged and everything changed. I was admitted for a gangrenous gallbladder and abscess, very dangerous times. I had a minor surgery to insert drains into the abscess and gallbladder. When these drains were finally removed a couple weeks after the surgery, one of my surgery team indicated she would schedule my surgery to remove the gallbladder in three months and l... read more
I was admitted at Dell Seton on 1/31/19 for neurology workup, the doctors decided to due MRI which would of took 5 hours but only got thru about 2 1/2 hours due to pain, the tech called ER nurse which brought some pain meds and never looked at my chart of allergies 😡 I had one very rude male neuro doctor in which I told them not to bring him back in my room.
