While I was looking at my credit karma this morning, I surprisingly found out that my Sephora **** card was cancelled! And to boot , it has a zero balance. I do purchase items from time to time and pay off my **** quickly. I believe this to be very unfair practice to someone who is trying to build credit. I placed 2 orders last week. One package arrived today, when it said it was going to. The other one is still in the same state it was being sent from but somehow will be here tomorrow. I purchased 180$ worth of product on 4/4/2022 approx 745pm at clackamas , ******** location. I realized the ",ordinary buffet" item had been opened and about 1/4 of bottle used when I got home. Ok, I'm a rouge Sephora member and made several purchases during the last Rouge Sale in November 2021. Many of the items came to me much later than I ordered online. Then we had the Thanksgiving break, COVID restrictions returned, and I went to one of the stores to make some returns, all to find out that because I was outside of the 30 days from purchasing, I could not get my money back on items that weren't even opened and in the re-salable conditions. Your return policy is a scam. How are you going to take three weeks to deliver a product that's only available online, and then I have only one week to return during the COVID-19 surge? And then I get an in-store credit for an item that was only available online. Horrible policy and I'm done with Sephora. It makes no sense that I don't get a return gift card for Sephora, that can be utilized in-store or online, especially when the items were purchased online.
I would leave less stars if I could. Their return policy is unreasonable. I placed an order online, and it took over a week to be shipped (which typically isn't a problem in my opinion). However, they only allow you to return items within 30 days of when the order is placed online, not of when it is delivered. I tried to return 2 items out of an order that was around $700.00. The website advertised the nuFace Trinity- device only- as $260 sale price. When I placed into my cart, it was reg price, $339. I submitted an order of $323.45 worth of items for their spring sale through Klarna on 4/11/22. Got an order confirmation. 2+ weeks go by and I log on and see the order on the Sephora site has a status of "Unsuccessful Authorization". I NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT MY ORDER WAS CANCELLED OR THAT THE PAYMENT FAILED!!! Why have such a huge sale for long if you have a limited stock? Why say a product is available when it's not? I payed off my credit card with Sephora and closed the account however 5 days later they had sent me a **** with a late fee which I wasnt going to pay. So I called the credit card company and was on the phone with them for over an hour just get hung up on, so I called back for them to tell me that they wont remove this late fee that they had billed me 5 days after Ive closed my account. Never ever will I do business with them again. Its just wrong what the doing. Im very dissatisfied with them.
