Do not buy gifts from Sephora to anyone! Bought a perfume for my wife and asked for a message to be written. My wife got a regular brownish box without any messages!!! If you do not honour your own provided services Sephora, you should not offer it, period. I suggest removing the write a message thing from orders and just let people know that you are not able to wrap a gift with a message anymore!!!

Unpleasant experience August 2023 with Sephora in **************.. While I was returning a product, I was denied and given a purchase ticket informing me that future returns will not be accepted. I called the 833 number for an explanation why. I was told I returned to many products. The store itself is clean, but since women and men are touching and sampling the makeup and skin care, buying it would be a safer choice since their has been COVID protocols. When I purchase items using the vendor Instacart and subsequently return the items to the store, Instacart will not refund the money for the items. On one particular time Instacart owes me $256.00 in returns. I have been on the phone for 5 hours explaining the situation and waiting for a manager. I sent the pictures of the receipts to Sephora over 4 times now with still no return. Gift cards useless- I would not buy them!Sephora online and customer service do not seem to care about their consumers. Beware buying their gift cards. I had 3 gift cards which I had not used during COVID. 2 of the gift cards were at least $50 a piece. And 1 I purchased for $25. When I tried to use 1 card it way lower than I expected. I purchased a dryer brush from Sephora less than a year ago. After no more than 20 uses the brush stopped working. The company that makes the brush is not responding to emails to fulfill a warranty claim (seems to have happened to many people) and Sephora claims there is nothing they can do to assist me as I am outside of their 90 day window. If you look up the product on their site, there are many 1 star reviews dating back through the last year stating the same issue with the brush dying less than a year in, yet Sephora co... read more

To allow a purchase to process for in store pickup prior to confirmation of the items being in stock and then refusing to refund the customer for 14 days is pure theft. This should never happen.

Bought a product on 8/11/23 and rushed over to return for a full refund 9/11/23. Product was completely unused and store manager did not refund and instead gave me a store credit, which I do not want or need. Because August had 31 days! People are out here doing smash and grabs and Sephora cant refund my money for a completely unused product because its been 31 days?? This is why I absolutely do not like shopping at Sephora. Please save your time and stick to Nordstrom and/or Ulta.
