I came in for a total thyroidectomy. My surgery went great and the staff was amazing. The answered all my questions promptly, and made me feel like a priority even though I'm sure I'm not the only patient. My doctor (Dr. Eric Gessler) made the experience and easy as possible. I was nervous since this was my first surgery but everything went well. They took great care of me. And the food wasn't half bad either. Thanks for making this a great experience for me.

I had to take my mother for a surgical procedure, brought her in at 7:30 a.m. and from the time we got there until the time we left at 2:30 p.m. all the staff put her mind at ease. 85 years old and she did wonderful. She was able to come home and I stayed with her. Everyone made her feel relaxed and made the time seem to go by quicker with their conversations and their friendly hellos and smiles. The entire staff was outstanding, not just the nursing and medical staff but the entire hospital staff. The people on with the 2 South Oncology floor are amazing. We can not thank them enough for all their hard work and care they provided​. We will always be grateful for all that they did for us.

My mother had surgery here and I dont think I have ever had a better experience with an overnight stay. Wow! Staff was great.

I saw Dr ton for a medial branch block, I really like Dr Ton, he is friendly and professional . So are his staff. I have had a bad experience​ with this block but it is not his fault . I will continue to see him for injections. He is the best around!

The staff in the ER was real good to my Father in law they took real good care of him made him feel a little bit better coming to find out he had a bladder infection and his COPD is bad I am very glad he's back home Still sick thou but doing a little bit better now Thank You to the Staff of VA Beach Sentra General hospital
