Sentara Virginia Beach is an excellent hospital beginning with check in to discharge. My husband, Richard, was recently discharged after another stay regarding his Congestive Heart Failure problem. The staff was so professional and yet friendly...even funny when talking about some issues. Great food, great care. We give it a 5☆ rating!!
I was and still am in serious pain. I went in telling them what was wrong and it's been going on for about 4 months now. My doctors are clueless as is the hospital. The hospital did blood work and sent me home without a single pain meds. They didn't even treat me for pain. They just did blood work. I bet if I overdosed on pain meds then they would do something! A hospital is a place that a person is supposed to go when they are hurt to be treated not to be overlooked and tonight I was overlooked.
I went to Virginia beach General Hospital yesterday afternoon to have an ultrasound done on my right leg because I recently broke my leg back in December the staff is very friendly and very nice! Keep up the hard work!!
My dad has been in ICU 2nd floor for 6 days now. I can't express how wonderful the staff has been. They have really been taking very good care of him. Very friendly, gentle and compassionate. The doctors who did my dad's surgery are also wonderful and dedicated. I can't ask for more. I love the whole team who has been part of my fathers recovery. He is coming out of ICU tonight or tomorrow and still has a way to go. But I know he will continue to have the best care here.
The staff, doctors, nurses, beautiful people that kept track of my dietary needs & gave me comfort at a time when I was actually pretty scared of anything dealing with pulmonary matters I had! I would like to Thank everyone that came to me to take care of my needs! So far the entire staff nurses, doctors, specialist and respiratory has been really good to me. I feel like they are actually listening. I pray they do.
I was in the Sentra Virginia Beach hospital on 1/31/17 for a procedure I was so scared!!! But the nurses and the doctor were so great to me and made me feel so safe and at ease that I was gonna be fine!!! And I was it was a breeze!!! One of The nurse stay right w me the whole time!!! They are amazing there!!!!
Wonderful nursing staff. She was very upbeat and caring. Dr seemed very overwhelmed, but understood seeing how busy it was. Best nurse ever.
