It is by far the best hospital in the tidewater are with the most efficient and caring staff.
Went for a lumbar MRI and was very impressed - from the receptionist to the registration personnel to the women performing my MRI - they were all very professional and caring.
Small waiting time just before Memorial Day weekend. Went into Emergency for a spider bite around 11 PM or so and the people on-call couldn't have been more helpful.
They took such good care after I got admitted. They made sure my clothes weren't ruined because of how sick I was getting. They were very gentle when they had to put the iv in. Thank you to the rn there
E.D. Doctor went above and beyond to help get my husband's head pain taken care of and to find out why. She was very attentive and explained things in great detail. Going to the emergency room is never fun but it definitely helps when you have incredible doctors. Thank you
Amazing hospital! Staff is very caring and kind. They encourage you to ask questions and are willing to explain everything they are doing. They care about the patients and the families too! We were in ICU second floor.
My dad was in this hospital for two weeks, he was moved three time and i was never informed ( I actually walked into the room to find another patient and their family in it). Then yesterday they discharged him to a rehab center while he was still not himself. Less than 12 hours later he is back in the ER and is still waiting for a room. The communication from the doctors on the upper floor is horrible! I will say though, the ER doctors and nurses truly care about their patients and are fantastic.
