I had a surgery and when they woke me up and said that they have no bed ready for me and kept me in the recovery room for 4hrs.and my husband was waiting for more than 4 hrs because no one check on my husband. So finally they have the bed but it will be with roommate so I took the room .they brought me upstairs and just drop me off and left. They didn't make my bed and did not make me comfortable. My room mate was very loud so on and on. My blood pressure was ski high. It was horrible ..I will never ever go back to va beach ... read more
Yesterday I was transported to Beach General after being involved in a serious motor vehicle crash. Everyone working was very sweet, patient, understanding, and helpful even though I was in lots of pain. All the tests were done as soon as possible in a timely manner. I appreciate everyone that attended to me.
In my opinion and my experiences this hospital is one of the best hospitals in the Tidewater area. They've always treated me and my family members with the compassion and concern you would expect from a healthcare provider. The level of commitment and professionalism is top notch - I so appreciate the kindness and humanity that is always displayed by the entire staff (from the janitors to the doctors).
