Please please for the sake of you and your loved ones do not step foot in this Hospital. Run as far away as you can. While the nursing staff is competent everything else at the hospital is a total disaster. In terms of discharge and discharge planning they are downright out cruel and should be sued. Brought my husband and told them that he has not taken his anti-seizure medicines went 2 days without his anti-seizure medicines then he had 4 seizures in a 24 hour. Two weeks later they kick us out of the hospital and basically ... read more

I was brought into the Emergency Room yesterday afternoon by ambulance. The EMT’s who transported me were wonderful and made me feel at ease like we were old friends. The ER staff could not have been nicer or more professional and caring. I so wish I could remember my nurses names to give them each specific praise. My doctor, Dr. Dwayne Morris, was the kindest ER doctor I have ever come across. On a day where they were swamped with much more critical patients than me he took the time to talk with me and explain what was goin... read more

Dr. Matilsky in the BHU dismissed my concerns when I told him I was overly sensitive to medication and prone to side effects, and needed a minimal dosage to prevent having an adverse reaction. He said it "sounds like I'm looking for side effects" and that all my side effects seem "psychosomatic" even when I said I'd had serotonin syndrome (a build-up of serotonin) and eosinophilia (an autoimmune response) both of which cannot be psychosomatic. Had he contacted my usual psychi...Continue Reading

Still haven’t received a itemized bill for what I was being charged for. On a separate paper I got charged for ambulance service that I didn’t receive we did a walk out and you sill billed my insurance. You can forget payment until you give me what I ask for IN DETAIL. You all run a shady business. You think I care you all are threatening collections on me? Bring it! This is not how medicine is suppose to work. And you sure as hell shouldn’t be payed for something that wasn’t done on top of that telling me you couldn’t take ... read more

I was in icu for 3 days and 3 West for a day and I must say those nurses and care partners were the best. The doctors were spot on and I appreciate every person who helped me. I was extremely scared and they all helped my family and myself through it. I saw everyone work as a team and respect each other. They were attentive and I cannot thank any of them enough! Awesome job!
