All I can say is that Sentara is not the same as it was when I worked for them. The staff was very nice, I had a great resident who seemed very caring. Nurses aren't as attentive though. Was in the room 2 hours and was not checked on, but I know they are busy. Obamacare and new healthcare rules have really decreased the quality of care a person gets. I am disappointed but I acknowledge a lot of it stems from administrative policies and insurance companies dictating how patients are treated. We need to get back to caring for ... read more
Say around for hours and finally was told I was being released with a prescription for an infection. They were really busy in the er but still sucked just sitting there hours waiting to find out what they would do
great experience...the staff was efficient personable and friendly.
I just wanted everyone living in V.B.that they are so lucky to have such a great Hospital like this. I was admitted on Monday 10/10/2016,for hip replacement surgery, and I have been treated like a king. These people really care about you while you are here, and it's not fake caring. I really love these people working here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like I'm someone special. Love you all Dave

I got there and i was not there that long i was in and out in no time and evetyone was very nice to me
I went yesterday and had a mammogram the new facility is gorgeous the staff was so friendly and it made my visit very comfortable if you haven't had your yearly mammogram done it's time to call them
