A Dr. Amada accused a friend of mine who had a violent seizure in the waiting room of being a drug addict, and tried to send her home with a Motrin. Shame on you. Go back to med school you piece of garbage.

Dr. Amada stated that a friend of mine, who had a heavy seizure in the waiting room of this hospital, was just a "drug addict" without looking at any of her charts or paperwork and tried to send her home with Motrin. It would be a shame if he had to do his job the right way!

I had an amazing experience here the people were very pleasant and friendly even though I was just a visitor here it is a great Hospital. An plan on coming hack in the future if need be..

Surgical staff was excellent. However, some of the RN's in my opinion need to be retrained. My fiancé had surgery on his leg and the nurses allowed his dressing to sit for 4 days to the point where it smelled. Not all of the nurses were bad but if they communicated better among each other it would help resolve issues with the patients.

Sentara MyChart is a great way to know your body conveniently online with reports directly downloaded from your physician. Communications between my personal physician and me are more clear and I know exactly what actions I need to take next to improve my good health. Doesn't cost me anything extra.

Well the pain set in today. From a 2 to an 8. But the nurses are great and administered pain pills to take care of it. Dr John Morina and his staff plus everyone at Sentara VIrginia Beach General have been great. Can't say enough about how well they take care of you here!!!

This hospital is so unkind to people's families. I don't know if the care is good or not, but I can tell you the nurses in ICU are so rude.

The hospital is amazing! The nurses, doctors and staff are so sweet. I got treated so nice and they are always on top of their game. I have absolutely no complaints. I was extremely comfortable. I didn't want to leave. People are usually in a rush to get out but I wasnt lol. I saw a review that the nurses are incompetent... so not true. The nurses are absolutely amazing and informative. Whatever they didn't know, they found out immediately.
