Staff at radiology oncology on our Sentara really care about the patient. My experience was awesome- on time, professional and they answered all my questions
Today I went there my fiancée had been having seizures. While waiting to be seen he had another one in the wheel chair. They rushed to get him a bed and hook him up. The nurse who wasn't even his nurse but showed us such compassion. I can't remember her name but her husband is a military man and their son has seizures. Nothing short of amazing. Wait 3 hours, only to be sent home in pain. Waste of a copay! Rude doctors.
Very clean and all the staff was very nice. Wish the location was closer to our home.
Shortly after 1130 Saturday night my mom began to experience chest pains. I took her to the local ED and being a northerner who has also been a nurse for 21 years I was concerned. I had never heard of Sentara! This place was exceptional. Everyone was knowledgeable and kind.. My mom was a wreck especially because we were only in town for the weekend!Everyone was amazing..from Dr. Deutsch(?sp) in the ER, Dr. Williams( admitting hospitalist). This was my second time coming to the hospital preparing for my up coming surgery. The staff in all areas make you feel so at ease and everything is just fine. Thank you for the care and support you show. It is very appreciated.
My son has asthma and was having a hard timr breathing and we waited fot hours b4 we got seen by a doctor .
Im sorry I checked in at 9:45 p.m my son and I, and at 12:30 a.m I walked out had never been seen. Only 2 of the 7 or 8 people that were in front of me had went in the back in those 2 1/2 hours. It was my worst experience with them ever. I know they treat ppl with serious things first but last night was the worst ever. I took my son and myself to a different facility and we both were treating and release for strip.........
The wait was pretty long but once I got called back the nurse that I had was exceptional and very attentive to my needs. Thank you to my nurse Jordan in the E.R. He really made this visit one of the most comfortable visits that I have had here in a very long time!
