The best surgery center by far i was there for a rhino/septoplsty and they made me feel so comfortable they even called to check on me the day after and for a whole week everyday they even sent me a very sweet note signed by all the nurses and the anestheologist . by fa the best care ive ever had. This from my personal experience, from pre-registration last week, to check in & procedure today. Everyone was courteous, helpful, informative and followed the procedures they were supposed to follow in polite, efficient but compassionate ways. Kudos to everyone at the main registration desk, the financial check in behind, check in on 2nd floor, and all the registered nurses who called in advance and who treated me today, the anesthesia team (Go SMG) and my own doctor, all who were great. Have had to spend a bit some time here in last 16 months we have always been treated with great compassion and care ,there are always chances of issues, however when have happened they have been resolved quickly ,we truly feel that we have gotten great care from the the SENTRA GROUP DOCTORS and Hospital .
Want to give a shout out to some exceptional RNs on the 3rd floor. Christiana and Pedro Wednesday ( night shift) treated my mom with the upmost respect and care. Me and my family greatly appreciate the care and love they showed her at a not so pleasant time! Emjed and Kim also were a breath of fresh air! Thank you for your friendly faces and loving what you do, it showed! Thank you, thank you!
I'm here to have some blood work done and I've been at main hospital registration for almost 40 mins. This is why health care costs are out of control. Have to go through 5+ people just to get blood drawn. Good grief. This place needs a class in efficiency.
I have never had longer wait times at an ER than I have at this hospital! It took only three hours this time to get to an exam room. The last time was around SIX hours before even being seen. I think that from now on I will drive to riverside in Newport News for better and faster service.
This place is horrible. The drive to riverside is worth it. They could care less about how you feel or how much pain you are in. My girls arm is broke in more than one place and they are making her twist and turn her arm for x-rays and have not given her any pain meds. You could hear her screaming all the way down the hallway and this is acceptable to them. Then the nurses tried to lie about what meds they were going to give her once I raised enough hell to make them give her some. The treatment is unacceptable. Even though ... read more
