Doctor Satos Yu is and always been a good physician. He and his staff are very well trained in their fields of medicine and show it in everything they do for their patients and their practice. Doctor Yu came highly recommended and that is the most important thing for me in looking for a new doctor at the time. he did nerve testing on me
I had to go in for a nerve conduction test. Did the first test with the technician, and then Dr. Yu came in to do the second test. Explained what to do during and explained what it would feel like. Very calm, kind soul. Highly recommend!
Dr. Yu was very pleasant. He was an excellent listener and knowledgeable. He provided a plan to correct issues.
We were early for our appointment and brought back to our room 30 minutes late. When I gave the receptionist the paperwork I informed her that my mom didn’t know about her Alz. When the Dr finally came into the room with his assistance she told him we were there for stroke history and dementia. I looked at the doctor and shook my head. He repeated what the assistant said. I told him that if he would like to talk about this we could step outside. He refused.
I was asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to my visit but was not called back until my actual visit appointment time which means I just sat there waiting.His assistant Tammie was absolutely Outstanding. She explained the procedure in detail before she started and talked me through the process throughout. Every time was about to run a test she let me know what she was doing and what I would experience during the test. So I was well prepared, aware and all of my questions were answered. Dr Yu is very kind, caring & thorough in his patient care. He listens to what his patient has to say & explains details of care thoroughly. Dr Yu is a wonderful perfume Neurologist.. At his Summerlin office you are always treated with kindness & respect by his staff members. This office is very efficient . I have never had a long wait to be seen. I was not taken seriously for my concerns. I came in hopes for answers and real help since the hospital and my ENT saw fluid on my brain and had concerns, yet this doctor has none and is more concerned over if I’m seeing a psychiatrist than my fluid on the brain, memory loss and huge increase in very bad headaches that come on fast and instantly, like a hit to the back of the head that hurts so bad I vomit.
