His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. Expertly run office. Friendly Dentist.
I've been going to Dr Barr's office for decades. And I am fortunate enough to have Cheryl as my hygienist. She's fabulous — not only at keeping me healthy, but as a person. We spend a lot of time just talking — and I love it. It may add some time to my appointment, but it's well worth it. Cheryl has become a friend and confidant. And she's the reason I keep coming back year after year after year. (Plus the fact that Dr. Barr knows which baseball team to root for.)
From Maureen at the front desk, to the most wonderful Cheryl (my hygenist and friend), to Dr. Barr himself, the experience is so delightful that I actually look forward to going to the dentist!
