Well I cannot say how good they are. I ordered the shelves 10 DAYS AGO, have a shipping label, and Saferacks cannot seem to figure out how to get the ordered out of their warehouse. Terrible service, customer service worse, and frustrated. Pretty shameful for a veteran owned business....because as a veteran I know if THEY knew what was happening they would solve it immediately. But no such luck with the poor staff in customer service! Pay more and buy them at Home Depot from another manufacturer!😖😢

Business response:

Hello Michael, I sincerely apologize that your experience with us was less than satisfactory. We, along with many others, have been having problems with our carriers such as FedEx losing our customers packages. We've resubmitted the order and tracking was generated as of yesterday. As a Veteran Owned Business, we certainly want our customers to have a smooth experience purchasing our products, especially our veterans. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Condescending local installers. One hour wait times to get someone on the phone. Customer Service sounds like it's ask office of high school girls? Two month lead times to get a weekend installation. Paid for 64 square feet of storage space, only got 48 square feet of storage space. Despite my explaining how I lost one fourth of my expected storage space, they told me I got a "really good deal" and felt no obligation to offer a credit. If I paid for a large and got a small, I'm sure anyone would feel taken advantage of.

I had racks installed by a safe racks installer and told the installer how much storage space I wanted to have (at least 24"). He told me that the bottom of the rack would come down about 1/2" from the top of my head. I told him that would be great. He put up the racks (two 4'x8' racks) and told me he was done and had me sign the invoice and I paid him. Just after he left I tried to put a tote upon the racks and it wouldn't fit. I got a measuring tape and discovered the installer gave me only 22" of storage space instead the... read more

Had two racks installed 3-4 years ago, and decided to do some more. We are in Sonoma County. Martin was our man both times. He is fast and full of information and recommendations. THIS is why you pay someone who knows what they're doing to install these. They were done to perfection! Each interaction I had with the scheduler in the Bay Area was similarly professional and helpful. We will soon run out of space in our garage to do more racks, but we will recommend Martin and SafeRacks to anyone we can!

I had a 4x8 garage rack I stalled . The installers came in a personal SUV no markings no business cards They were 2 hours late proceeded to tell me that their chip reader wasn’t working so could I write a check I was not comfortable with doing this.i called the company to make a payment. There was no interest on the part of the individual I spoke with about my concerns. The installers did not clean up after the work. The rack it’s self if fine . Not professional at all.

The product is great but getting my overhead garage storage installed is another matter. Contacted Saferacks in January to have my unit installed but on the day of installation the installer needed to reschedule due to bad weather. The installer ghosted me so I contacted SafeRacks again and was told they were in the process of getting a new installer for our area. Well 5 months have passed since my install date and I have not gotten my storage unit installed. Wish I had never purchased this unit.

I helped my dad install a few of these to get rid of the mountain of boxes infesting his garage. They work great and the installation was simple. Pretty sure he's ordering more because the infestation always returns... somehow.

Contacted Saferacks, waited 1 month for installed, the installer completed 1/2 the job and never returned , contact the customer service department and was advised the installer had quit and it would approximately 1 month before the job could be completed. No ahead 5 weeks, no contact from saferacks , another call to customer service and advised it would be at least another month before my job was completed. This company is a complete joke!!!!
