Like others that have posted, I also find SafeRacks customer service severely lacking. I needed to call twice to finish an order even though I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours. This never happened. After calling them again, they have charged my credit card close to one month ago but have not shipped the item. According to the FedEx tracking number it is sitting in their warehouse waiting to be shipped.

This is some of the worst, most egregiously careless customer service I have ever experienced. I bought a $250 garage rack well over a month ago, and it shipped with the wrong hardware. It's been OVER A MONTH since I first made contact with them to request that the correct hardware be sent to me, and I've been flat out ignored. They don't pick up the phone or answer emails. Disappointing installation and customer support. Ordered two 4x8 shelf units through Costco. Received only 3 of 4 boxes. Called and representative said that a replacement box would be sent. Received that a week later. Great. However, also requested installation. Horrible service!!!! I have purchased garage storage racks from SafeRacks before and they were great. Easy to install and can hold heavy loads. I recently moved into a new house and decided to purchase some more garage storage racks. I placed an order for 3 storage racks and some bins. It has been a month now and have not received anything. This company is terrible!! After spending over $1000 with them, I have called over and over to receive an install. Stay on the line- no one picks up; save your place in line- no one calls back!!; leave a message- no one returns your calls!! finally got and appt date after over 4 months of calling and guess what- no one showed up or called!!!

What is the secret to getting any type of response from this company? I have left 4 separate phone messages asking for call backs and have never been called back. I’ve waited on hold for an hour or more for two consecutive days and neither call was ever answered. I’ve also sent 2 emails messages that have not been responded to. My father ordered a 4x8 rack and received only one of two shipments. The second tracking # has been pending now for over two weeks. They are the WORST. Terrible customer service in EVERY area. I was charged for my order in March. NEVER received a confirmation email. I sent 10 emails in 3 months to them and called them over 5 times. I got ZERO reply. In early May they sent me an email stating the items I ordered were on back order and I could cancel the order and receive a refund. I asked for a refund and NEVER received the refund. EDITED: I would like to thank safe racks for getting in touch with me through messenger to arrange a call back for scheduling installation. I learned that they are short staffed and overwhelmed with calls due to the pandemic. We have an installation date on the books. Thanks again! Original post: We are very frustrated. Ordered (2) 4’x8’ racks through Costco, however only received a partial order. Also missing hardware according to what the directions say was supposed to be included. Have made several attempts to contact safe racks with zero success. The call back system has called me back hours later each time telling my that my call can not be processed. 🤷‍♂️ Tried waiting on hold for a rep to answer, but finally hung up after waiting 1 1/2 hours.
