I purchased two SafeRacks from SafeRacks (more expensive than if you purchase them at Costco!). The installer was very nice but, unfortunately, three electrical wires behind the wallboard were damaged and I instantly lost power to the front of my home. I called SafeRacks and they said they'd cover the repair. After WEEKS of calling and emailing photos , documentation, copies of invoices and payments, I am still trying to get reimbursed for the electrical bill to fix the damage. I love SafeRacks and had them in our garage in Phoenix for years. We just moved to the Portland, Oregon area and are having a bit of a problem trying to find an installer - no one response to emails and the phone number listed is not working. I would appreciate any help you could give me.
Not sure why anyone would buy these anywhere but their clearance section. I got 2 for $119 each with free shipping. Installation is easy as can be. My friend and I could not locate any defects on the rails, no powder coating issues, no rust, no dents.....no idea why sold as factory second but not complaining!
This review is on the Plymouth, Minnesota area Safe Racks Installer and not on the product itself. I purchased the two rack system from Costco in October, and set up an appointment with Safe Racks for the installation. I had to wait a few weeks for the installation, as there's only installer for this area from Safe Racks. Outstanding. The options presented much improved on my own thoughts. The installation was amazingly fast and inventive in its own right. We are already considering adding more.
