*****Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND FARMERS INSURANCE HAWAII***** I got rear ended by a CLIENT of FARMERS and the end result after almost a month long process. The CAR was deemed a total LOSS. On 9/26/19 FARMERS Insurance Agent MARY offered a settlement based on there maximum limitations of their company which I settled for. TODAY, 9/27/19 MARY said they will not take care of the settlement to the LOSS of the car. She said I NEED to file a claim through my OWN car Insurance carrier. Mind you, I was not at FAULT!! Fortunately, I didn't have any accidents while I was insured by Bristol West/Coast National Insurance Company, which are both subsidiaries of Farmers Insurance, but when I cancelled my policy and was owed $326.04, they have refused to pay it. They have claimed to have issued two checks to me, and I can understand one check being lost in the mail, but TWO? THIS COMPANY STINKS!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR YEARS TO SWITCH BUT NO ONE IS CHEAPER FOR ME AND MY SON. I CAN'T AFFORD DOUBLE WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY PAYING. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 23 DAYS TO GET A QUOTE OF WHICH I HAD BEEN TRYING SINCE THE 9TH TO NOW ADD THE VEHICLE TO MY POLICY. THEIR SYSTEM IS ALWAYS DOWN AND HAVING PROBLEMS AND I AM BEING HOUNDED BY THE LENDER FOR MY SONS CAR TO GET A DECLARATION PAGE AND THEY CAN'T SEEM TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

We had A manufactured home. We put in two claims to foremost and I for filled the claims well. On the third time, when we renewed our insurance they didn't include Coverage we had before. We ended up having a similar problem which they denied us at this time. We were not informed when we renewed our policy that that was being excluded! Be aware.

I have never been so upset and discouraged about a company that is supposed to have my best interests as their goal. On 6/15/19 I was in a automobile accident. A guy ran a stop sign and it totaled my car. My 2012 Ford explorer, which I had just got... meaning payment #3 was made the day before this accident was a complete loss. I am still being seen for my injuries sustained from this accident. They wanted to talk numbers less than 48 hrs later. Horrible insurance company! It's impossible to get anyone on the phone after filing a claim. I have to leave 4-5 voicemails before anyone would call back. First the appraiser was on vacation so I had to send photos through an app. It took a few days to get a response. Then the adjuster went on vacation without notifying me so I've been dealing with different people. Now my car is in the body shop & they call me with a new estimate. My wife was rear ended and our vehicle was totaled and she was injured. Bristol offered her 5,000 to settle claim what a joke. Agent never returns calls to settle claim.Your client was at full fault and have Witness of his actions. Seeking an attorney due to lack of Bristols response.

I believe I have found the worst auto insurance on this planet and it's called Bristol West Insurance. My elderly mother in Florida originally purchased Farmers Insurance and her policy was transferred to Bristol West Insurance.
