How is Farmer's still in business? Currently going through my second claim with them. First claim took 3 months to resolve. Yes, that's right 3 months. I was without a car for 3 whole months. How long is this claim going to take? Half a year? A full year? I'm for sure going to shop around for different insurances after this claim is taken care of.

I never used my insurance and my account had no issues. Still my auto insurance increased exponentially ever 6 months. I did what I could to try to lower the price but it still just went up! I'm a safe driver but was demanded to pay over $900 for 6 months! I finally switched companies and am now paying half of what I paid in the last 4 years. The agent didn't even reimburse me the full remaining amount on my account from the date I switched, only from the date I emailed him. Disgusting!

Horrible Auto Insurance Company. My daughter who is a college student was ripped off by Bristol West. They showed in her payments that she had paid on her due date in November but then turned around and charged her again 2 weeks before her due date. When she called them about it, they claimed that they had implemented a new billing system and were not taking payment at the time of her November payment, so instead took it out of her bank account on Dec 5th. This is just a unscrupulous group as a client or as person making claims. Please read all articles regarding their ******** service, along with their computer that basically spits out what should be paid out. No humanity, this company only cares about the bottom line. Do not sign up with them. Many other insurance companies that are better out there.
Horrible company to purchase insurance with the under writer company guarantees one thing and Bristol west does something totally different. They will not help you no matter what. They advise that they have to go by the signed documents and not what's on a record line.
Horrible insurance company. On the first day, we paid in full for a whole year home insurance policy with Farmers Insurance. In a hot summer day, in June, HVAC unit stopped cooling the second floor of our house. The next day, we had an HVAC technician come and check and we had to replace the unit. We paid in full and filed a claim to Farmers insurance with all documentation of payment. Farmers adjustor sent a third party inspector to inspect the new unit on our roof. Horrible company. We filed our first claim when we were hit by lightening back in July. The first representative was always unavailable. Sick, vacation, out of the office and promoted was the reasons I got. We ended up being assigned 3 different people over months. Each person told us something different.
