I’ve had two surgeries at Sacred heart, April 1 and April 9. My second stay have been 4 days and I just want to let you know the staff was wonderful! Kind, Caring and help me feel so comfortable! From room 416 thanks you staff always Debbie!
Holy Family yes . sacred heart is horrible for parking especially the disabled. never have seen any hospital that no matter where u park u have to pay. then can't use cash to pay!! what about those of us who don't have bank cards!! no one is parking my car and keeping the keys either.
I am so thankful for the team of nurses who were preparing me at Holy Family for a colonoscopy, and caught my heart condition (blockage serious). And rushed me to ER, and next the ambulance team transported me to Sacred Heart ; where I was prepared, this time for a Pacemaker The very next morning. Very caring God-sent teams moved so professionally at each station. I’m so thankful to be alive and breathing well, and having more energy. This was assured to me by several in the process.. We have been waiting for over 24 hours for an update on my father. We have not seen a doctor that has any answers and every doctor has a different approach ( if they have read his chart at all). I've seen cattle treated better. You would not want this for your family member so why don't to other people? I understand this may happen from time to time but we have been here off and on for a month. #providencebrokenheart
“Save your money from buying packs of cigarettes so you can take your kid to Disneyland.” -ER Doctor’s words to me as I lay in pain from a ruptured ovarian cyst, upon learning that I occasionally smoke cigarettes. They care. Obviously this is an atypical experience and the good work done here shouldn’t be discredited, but this was neither appropriate nor any physician’s place to make such a disparaging remark toward a patient. Thank you for teaching me how NOT to treat patients as I pursue my own path in medicine.
Three weeks ago, I had a fourth knee replacement at Sacred Heart. It has been a very difficult journey but everyone at Providence and Sacred Heart from pre-surgery to surgery prep to anesthesiologists to my Providence doctor/surgeon to recovery to the 4th floor nurses team and everyone in between, made this 4th replacement as easy for me as possible.
