In 2015 my daughter was admitted through the ER for an appendectomy and two months later had an inpatient surgery to her remove her ovary when they discovered a cyst during the time they diagnosed her appendicitis. After these procedures she began having pain in her abdomen, which after fighting for her care she was finally diagnosed with nerve pain, which they believed was a result of a nerve(s) that were damaged during one or both of the surgeries. All of the nurses in the labor/delivery and mother baby unit at Sacred heart were so amazing to me before and after I gave birth to our first baby, Serenity LeighAnn on May 22nd. Especially Shannon in labor and delivery. She was my favorite nurse and went into full detail with my questions being answered. I am glad we switched from Valley OB to NW OB just so I could give birth there. In gratitude, I just want to thank EACH and EVERYONE for all the care they gave to us. This is absolute BS. Been in room #13 for 4 damn hours!!!!!!!!! A 78 year old lady who thinks she's had a heart attack.
Ten days ago my 20 year old grandson was air lifted to Sacred Heart after suffering several cardiac arrests. Due the the heroic efforts of the emergency staff they managed to eventually stabilize him despite several more arrests. The following morning after being moved to the cardiac ICU the prospects did not look very good, but no one involved with his case backed off from the well above 100% efforts they were making on his behalf. I have been admitted to labor and delivery antepartum unit since the 18th of april and will be here until mext week. I just have to say this has been the greatest stay in a hospital i have had. The nurses are great and very helpful.
I ended up delivering my little one at 35 week via c-section. The care we both received during and after delivery was top notch. He is now in the NICU and every person I have encountered has asked me how I'm doing and how he is. Its nice to be treated like a person not a number. And to feel like they truly care about us. I would highly recommend this hospital. Thank you all for such wonderful care!!
