Thank you for... Absolute confusion Ruby Memorial Hospital.. Also known as WVU Medicine located in Morgantown Wv. A doctor decided, without disscusing with me at all or even alerting me to what was going to happen put me as a level one suicide. Like... Considering i came in for an infection this was all rather.. Ruby is an amazing hospital with amazing staff! I am truly grateful to have delivered my precious baby there 2 years ago. However today I learned they are barring doulas from serving their clients and that is not evidence based. I pray that they change these policies soon! The evidence for the health benefits of doula care is clear. Amongst other things, they stuck me 7 times trying to get my IV in & 2 more times because it fell out after my c section, they were digging it around trying to get the vein. took 4-5 different girls to get it finally. the one girl tried in my hand & she was shaking so bad she was pulling up on the skin & jammed it into a nerve i’m guessing because it shot a sharp pain from my hand up to my elbow. my hand swelled up not long after my surgery. they put the security bracelet around my babies ankle which left terrible marks & wh... read more
My husband is a patient at Ruby Memorial. I am so grateful for the excellent care he is receiveing. We live approx 3 hours away and making sure he trip every day is difficult, I know he is in good hands there.
If you have an emergency go to Mon health, ruby is horrible, very long wait!! im talking hours everytime I've been there, I now go to Mon health, very fast and efficient !!
If I were shot in the lobby of Ruby, I would demand an ambulance to take me to Pittsburgh.
I love all the Drs nurses CNAS & all the staff I been taking my husband to Ruby memorial hospital for 35 yrs for all his medical conditions & he passed away Dec 7th from a rapid growing cancerous tumor but he had the best care from each & everyone at Ruby memorial I would recommend Ruby memorial hospital great Drs nurses CNAS & staff
