Way Overpriced. Run! They charged $754 to unclog a drain. I have always used Roto Rooter in the past and had great results. Naturally I called them and I did not think to ask what they are charging because they were always reasonable... but not anymore! ****** *** *********would have done it for $100. RIP OFF SCAMMERS!

They stood me up two times. I called on a Monday evening (6:00pm) because they claim they will come at any hour. They told me it would be in the next 4 hours. They called at 9:30 and told me they were unable to find a plumber. The operator asked when the next window of time would work and I told them the following day after 6:30pm. By 7:30 the next day I hadn't heard anything so I called to see if they could give me a rough time for arrival. Do not use this company! Tried to scam ** into a fake sewer line repair. Was just a clog for which they charged $738. Had three guys in for a simple clog. Tried the hard sell, claiming we needed work done to the tune of $8500. Sad to think of all the people these frauds take advantage of.

a Rip Off. I contracted with Roto-Rooter to clean a clog. They did so well although their fee was very high. They found a collapsed main drain pipe via their camera. They quoted a price of $5,900 to replace a 10' piece of 70 yr old pipe. I Knew this bid was outrageously high so I got quotes from other reliably septic companies. One offered to do the job for $1,250. I thus avoided a rip-off. Roto-Rooter is preying on unsuspecting Seniors !

Receiving any sort of communication from this company is a nightmare. They did repair the mainline, but I'm not really sure if I was scammed or not after reading so many poor reviews. I needed plumbing though, so what could I do. One of my biggest peeves is constantly having to call and find out when they would come do the repair, when the cement work was going to be done and now, I'm trying to find out when the final inspection is going to be performed. We recently had flooding issues and because of our situation Roto-Rooter out of Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Ohio was called. From the beginning they were professional on all levels from inspection to final outcome and everything in-between. The main inspection was done by Tim K******* and once the problem was diagnosed, an estimate was given and work began shortly after by a great crew headed by Kim and apprentice Mason. Deeply regret using Roto-Rooter in Livonia/Northville MI for a flooded basement 'restoration.' They respond quickly to get you on contract them everything - I mean EVERYTHING - goes rapidly downhill. I only saw my 'Project Manager' the day I signed the paperwork - he wouldn't even respond to phone calls thereafter. The restoration team always arrived late and on some days simply didn't show which is not good when you have 3 days to dry out a basement.
