Three years ago we had a problem with our water heater in the kitchen. We had Roto-Rooter installed a new water heater and paid $1,600, which we thought was so expensive compared to other water heater in a bath room, which we paid $700 including a new water heater ($450) and labor ($250). Now on 07/08/2023, we noticed that hot water stopped coming out from the water heater in the kitchen and called Roto-Rooter about this problem. I just wanted to thank Roto-Rooter and Jim B****** in particular for always being supportive and helpful when issues arise. The last time I needed support and had guests arriving to my home within a few hours. Roto-rooter came out and fixed my issue and went above and beyond - some of the parts needed to complete the job failed due to wear and tear and Roto-rooter agreed to replace them free of a labor charge since they were already supporting another issue and the time to replace was nominal. Customer service is terrible! They claim they provide service 24/7 but was unable to find any plumbers for the emergency call on saturday at 8:00 pm. Offering services on Sunday instead. The customer service rep was very rude. I would never recommend or use them myself again.

I had a relatively good experience with Roto-Rooter. I appreciate that they provide free estimates, which they came out to do right away since we needed a quick assessment to coordinate a dishwasher installation. Unfortunately the initial quote was very high for a simple task, but we were able to negotiate the pricing down (quote for replacing some water pipes was also high). on June 28, 2023, I used Roto-Rooter for the first time -- We had a soft tissue clog in our main sewer line and some backup in the basement. They sent a tech. The tech utilized a cleanout in our yard and utilized a 75-foot snake in an attempt to clear the line -- his snake could not reach the clog. The tech told us someone would be out with a 150-foot camera and water jet, either later that night or first thing in the morning. It seems this company is a complete scam. On 6/19/2023, I had an appointment for a draining issue in the bath sink and shower and after the visit they quoted $500 to fix boththe issue. I asked forthe time to think if I want to go ahead with the fix. I called them again on 6/26 that I would like to go ahead but this time they quoted $1000 for the same service which was completely shocking to me as we had a detailed discussion and it was told to me that we can fix this and the best price will be $500. On May 22, 2023, I utilized Roto Rooter for the first time. I had two small issues: a clogged kitchen drain and a part to be replaced in a toilet tank. When I made the appointment, I was told that the serviceman would give an estimate before proceeding to do the repairs. Since the serviceman came to my home before I could leave my job, my son was initially at the house in my place. We had Roto Rooter out to try to fix a Downspout/Sump pump line around July/August 2022. They ran the camera through and said we need to run new drain line, we gave our approval and they ran it over to a point approx 30 foot from the property line. There was a collapsed pipe that they fixed, we thought we had our problems solved, wrong! Around April/May when he had quite a bit of rain our downspout and sump line started overflowing.
