I had a bad experience. I had sewage water in my Crawlspace they charged me $575 to try to rod into the main sewer line to see if there was a leak or clog. Only went as far as75 ft in with camera for them to say they couldnt unclog the line and to find someone else because they couldnt help me. I found someone who was able to rod it successfully through another line that roto rooter said they didnt want to use and was able to clear the clogged drain and water out of the Crawlspace for cheaper. RotoRooter wanted to charge $553 to change out a leaking cold water line (not including the trip charge of $69). This is extreme overcharging. This company should be penalized legally for this. Apparently, overcharging is their practice because they do it to EVERYONE. Do not use this company; help drive them out of business for good.

I will never recommend or use this co. ever & if I could give them 0 stars I would. They took advantage & over charged. I called for a sewage backup at my main drain. They sent a plumber pd $400.The backup was due to my back flow cap coming off and blocking the sewage from draining properly. The plumber removed the cap & all backup flowed out with no problem. He called his field Mgr to come out & look. In speaking to the Mgr she asked if I want a team to come cleanup the poo so I said yes. Mind you this was an area of maybe ... read more

Terrible business. When their machine does not work and needs to be repaired, they let me pay for their time to repair their tools even when they could not even get the job done. I have a drain clog issue. Called Roto Rooter, a guy came and try to use his drain snake tool to try to open it. He found that his tool is not working, so called two other guys to come to repair it. Roto-Rooter took advantage of my wife and I and overcharged us to the extreme. They charged us $5,900 for a septic line replacement. I was later quoted **** and **** by different companies. Not only that, they charged me for replacement of the whole line and they only replaced 2/3 of the line. On top of that they clearly stated in the **** that pulling a permit was factored into their pricing when the didn't even pull a permit. When I asked, they could not supply me with a break down of costs. They are ripping customers off.

I wish I could leave zero stars!! This company is the worst. I wouldn't hire them again if they were the last plumbing company on earth. I have paid them over $14,000 ($4000+ which was stolen from my bank acct without approval) for what started from a sewer backup. Majority of the office staff including supervisors are rude, unhelpful and have no clue what their employees are doing. In my opinion this unethical company took advantage of my wife for $1400 of repairs for a leaky sink drain. By the time this guy was done the toilet flush mechanism was broke after he asked to use it then suddenly the toilet needed reseated. Asked to wife to not leave him alone and keep him away from any other plumbing. My advice is avoid this company unless the husband is there supervising every minute of the job. Really sad

Ripped off over charged. My service was $1,900.00 to change out 2 toilets. Labor itself was $399 per hr the guy said his minimum is 3 hrs. The guy Johan went to go get the units Two-Piece Toilets w/ Elongated seats he brought back rounded ones. He said they were out of stock brought back similar. When he was done saw my results was not happy. One of my toilets was ***** it was not lined up straight asked him to fix it he didn't. He spent almost 4 hrs installing the toilets. We called roto rooter to fix our toilet. They set a time frame never showed up. They called later during the day to schedule for the next day. They arrive look at the toilet said the floor is no good. We redone the floor and put the floor around the toilet. I called them they said they will send another. We waited over our time frame called around 10 pm it was late so they come by they next day it was the same guy. I explain to him about the floor he said no it's rotten. I told him to get the ****out of my house
