Best People to Do Hair! – I think it helps a lot that the person cutting your hair is really cool, that way you have good communication and don't leave with any regrets about your hair. So yah Mandy cut my hair very "trendy-licious" haha, her words not mines, and I have no regrets because she's great and my hair looks wild as f*@k. The other stylists there are real cool too so I wouldn't mind getting a cut with them either. The salon is damn near perfect. Plus Mandy is real cute guys.
Most friendly salon – Urban Roots has the best customer service. They really listen to what you want done and the hair stylists do an excellent job. Tammy cuts my hair and does it wonderfully. They go above and beyond offering beverages and pleasant conversation. They also are eco-friendly. They Rock!
Without A Doubt BEST HAIR SALON IN DOWNEY – I needed a haircut badly. I looked on citysearch and decided thats it!! I'm just going to make an appointment, since its so close to my house. I have been to a couple of other salons in long beach, which is a distance, but i never go back. They just dont do it for me! So anyways, i made an appointment for the following day. I'm a lifetime customer! – Everyone at the salon is great, they make you feel comfortable and the vibe is great! It is a beautiful salon and they do a great job! Chemo gave me a beautiful color and highlights, they look really natural and he personalized what I wanted to fit me. I feel like they really love what they do and they really take their time with the customer and personalize their hairstyle. I will be a customer for life!

Best Cut Ever! – Thanks to Vannesa my hair looks and feels amazing! She even taught me some tricks to wear my hair curly and I was able to do it! Not to mention she was very professional and easy to talk to. The whole staff was great!
Great place for cut and color – I called the salon on a Friday at 9:30 am and got an appointment that same day for the afternoon. When I walked in the salon I was greeted by a friendly face and was offered something to drink. Kathy cut my hair and she was awesome! She listened to what I wanted and was willing to do something big even though not knowing me. But she knew what she was doing and gave me a great cut and color. best hair salon – I got my highlights done by Mandi. She did an excellent job. I usually have problems with other stylists leaving my hair looking raw and dull- but she knew exactly what i wanted and needed. I left with shiny, gorgeous hair and contiunally get complemented. Definatly give her a try!
I went to Urban Roots with a friend and went back and got my hair cut with Vannesa, I usually go to the barber! I won't be going back to the barber! She hooked me up and was really cool and she didn't try to make smell all girly! I never thought I'd be going to a salon to get my hair done. Cool job V
