The first difficulty we had was with the carpet installation for March 14th, 2023 from **** pm. The installer called at 8 am to let us know he was on the way in 30 minutes. I told him that I was 2 hours away and couldn't get there in time, but we were scheduled for later in the day. I called their Romanoff Renovations office and was told that they didn't schedule me for that time frame and that their installer had a cancelation and they couldn't make him wait all day just to install my carpets. I was supposed to have an install in December then they pushed it back to January and now guess what its now pushed back to February, Dont ever use this s*** company, they cant do a job on time. They are unprofessional and rude to customers
Terrible! I don't even want to get into details, I'm so disappointed. **** poor communication, breach of contract and unskilled labor. I'm seeking legal assistance. I haven't been able to live in my house for 3 weeks. 12 out of 12 DO NOT RECOMMEND.Home Depot contracts this company. Abort!!!!
Had them scheduled thru ********** and they first had equipment problems the day of installation. Rescheduled and now they need an abostes test. I quess the job didn't fit into what they wanted to do.
2 young man came to intall carpet 5/16 for our duplex both unit about **** sf. It was told booked 2 business days but they have done in 9 hours working. We was struggle because they didnt speak any English ( they very polite) we made phone called to company but not respond after they done I came inside check all stairs loose and have gaps and holes. Floor installation was scheduled on April 25th. The day of I received a call at 9:30 am the installer had called out. This is after I took the day off from work and rearranged all the furniture to prepare for the job. The installation was rescheduled for May 2. The installation was not completed on May 2 because the installer broke too many pieces during the installation to finish the job. I was informed the installation would be completed within 2 weeks. The worst customer service I have ever received. I am a retired disabled Marine and recently had flooring installed throughout my entire home in ********* **. During this installation, we had our kitchen renovated. Our old island was moved a few feet to another spot in the kitchen. The Romanoff Renovation installer put a hole where the old island was and damaged the floor. No show the day of install after moving everything into the garage - text less than 12 hours to push out install for 2 months from now - Cancelled everything now and will find a reputable company - Do not deal with Romanoff worst ever !!!!!
This is absolutely the worst company ever!!! We recently had the interior of our house painted along with the stair railings and baseboards. We were scheduled to have Romanoff install carpet and they did warn me there would be a small chance they might scratch some of baseboards in the process. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the project. I reviewed your claim and the before and after photos. Unfortunately, the damage to the walls and baseboards was pre-existing and not the result of our installer's neglect. Minor touch-up paint is to be expected after a carpet installation.
