2 young man came to intall carpet 5/16 for our duplex both unit about **** sf. It was told booked 2 business days but they have done in 9 hours working. We was struggle because they didnt speak any English ( they very polite) we made phone called to company but not respond after they done I came inside check all stairs loose and have gaps and holes. Floor installation was scheduled on April 25th. The day of I received a call at 9:30 am the installer had called out. This is after I took the day off from work and rearranged all the furniture to prepare for the job. The installation was rescheduled for May 2. The installation was not completed on May 2 because the installer broke too many pieces during the installation to finish the job. I was informed the installation would be completed within 2 weeks. The worst customer service I have ever received. I am a retired disabled Marine and recently had flooring installed throughout my entire home in ********* **. During this installation, we had our kitchen renovated. Our old island was moved a few feet to another spot in the kitchen. The Romanoff Renovation installer put a hole where the old island was and damaged the floor. No show the day of install after moving everything into the garage - text less than 12 hours to push out install for 2 months from now - Cancelled everything now and will find a reputable company - Do not deal with Romanoff worst ever !!!!!
This is absolutely the worst company ever!!! We recently had the interior of our house painted along with the stair railings and baseboards. We were scheduled to have Romanoff install carpet and they did warn me there would be a small chance they might scratch some of baseboards in the process. Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the project. I reviewed your claim and the before and after photos. Unfortunately, the damage to the walls and baseboards was pre-existing and not the result of our installer's neglect. Minor touch-up paint is to be expected after a carpet installation.
Purchased carpet for our house at the ********** in early November and it took until the end of January 2022 to get it installed. That was the good part. After the installation, upon closer inspection, we noticed some very disturbing defects in how the carpet was installed. First, we have buckled carpet at a corner in a hallway which sticks out like a soar thumb. Waves in the carpet going down the hallway. This is one of the worst companies we have ever worked with. We are contractors so we have gone through a lot of floor installers. It took them 2 days to put in ************* of carpet. They were lazy, liars, horrible communicators, and just plain inconsiderate. They were supposed to move a desk to put in the carpet and when they got there, they (3 grown men) decided it was to "heavy". Ordered Pergo flooring through ********** (HD) who gave job to Romanoff Flooring, A truck comes to my home and it appears that Romanoff subcontracted as the name on truck was not Romanoff. They tell me my floor needs small amount leveling. We did not discuss a price and HD did not give me a price. HD called me and I gave them permission to charge my card for leveling agent, nothing else. Found out a week later that my card was charged for leveling. I ordered flooring with ********** in Beaverton, Oregon, They contracted install job to Romanoff's, who did a less than acceptable job. Have complained for 4 months, requesting inspection and repair without success from either party. Demanding action to repair or refund ASAP. Jeff *********, GM at ********** in Beaverton needs to be notified as well as Romanoff's.

Thank you for your comment. I looked at your work order and it looks like your job was completed in August of this year. It is my understanding that your complaint stems from not being notified that you will need a vacuum for a high pile carpet.
