With online and peer research I found Dr. Boykin highly rated for shoulder replacement. He did not disappoint. Dr. Boykin did a wonderful job. Always explained what was going to happen, had a video, then did the surgery. Highly recommend. Thelia in PT was awesome as well.

He explained everything to me so I understood what he was saying. Super helpful and great bedside manner.
He gets right to the point and how to check out my shoulder. So, we will wait another 3 months to see if my shoulder continues to be stable.
I was super scared about tearing my ACL and Dr. Boykin was so nice and supportive through the whole process. The follow up visits after surgery were awesome and I felt like they really heard my concerns. I’m now 6 months post op and have full range of motion and minimal pain. I highly recommend him.
He was patient and he listened to what my problem was .
I received an excellent history and physical with special attention to my L shoulder. He reviewed the x-ray and MRI data with me, explaining each pertinent component. He explained the diagnosis, prognosis, and options of treatment. He included me in the decision. I was impressed with his professional demeanor while maintaining a comfortable setting.
I have had both my shoulders replaced by Dr Boykin he’s a really nice man and a great surgeon.
