Normally I like riverview hosiptal. I went in today with strain b flu. The Dr gives me a prescription that cost 200.00 and my insurance wouldn't pay for it. Why would a dr give you a prescription he knows you can't afford. He said if my insurance didn't pay it would take a little longer to get better. Crazy.
All of my doctors are just the best! I moved over an hour alway and still make the drive because I refuse to lose them. Dr. Ward in the pain management dept has literally changed my quality of life. Thank you!
The nurses in the Short Stay area are the best. My care was efficient and I was treated with respect and kindness.

All the bad things I'd heard about Riverview is NOT true..I've had the best care by all staff members..Thank you so much Dr Mindrebo..&all the nurses and other staff members..Full hip replacement and was up 2hrs after surgery walking!!! So happy with decision to have hip replaced ..
But because my sugar was low I was cranky with them. So sorry guys.
My family is the one with lots of health issues and accidents. We have had good and bad service coming here. It is my local hospital so I will continue to go here. They get things done and you get treated. I am just glad they are here and thanks to those that show they care.
A horrible hospital! Patience service is poor. Doctor's have no personality! Emergency room service was pitiful! The Doctor we saw was horrible and just in a hurry to go home! The only thing positive were the Radiology people! I can see why they make a lot of mistakes and have a poor reputation!
Had a sleep study done and my Tech James was great!
