I think if you're not handicapped, don't park in a handicap spot- no matter who you are. Reference post: A photo of one of Riverview Health's executives parked in a handicap parking spot. An executive who is obviously not handicap, in a spot for PATIENTS. Why is it ok to for those that enforce rules, not abide by the rules? All other employees have to walk to a parking lot far away, even at night. There's also security that roams the parking lot and questions everyone else why they are there. This doesn't seem right! 4 months ago my oldest daughter went to the ER seriously ill and was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection,,,,, what she really had was a burst appendix and could have died. Last Friday my 83 years aunt went to the ER with serious rib pain. She left with the diagnosis of it could be either shingles or Pleurisy. After a visit to the family doctor today (Monday) his x-rays and tests showed a badly bruised rib. Both ER visits were with the same doctor. 2 visits,,,,,,,,,,,, 2 fails.

I was afraid to have my Cancer Surgery and Chemo at Riverview. I had heard horror stories, but I am glad I decided to go there. The Oncology Nurses, Dawn and Leslie, were amazing. I thank Dr. Milton and Dr. Shah for saving my life. I had two surgeries and the Nurses were amazing. Wish I could remember their names, but when I was in I could barely remember mine. I had to go to the Emergency Room three times and Dr. Smith was there a couple times and she was so nice and caring. I have seen bad reviews, but I just don't have an... read more
The staff is wonderful, however management lacks all concern for the people that make RH the good hospital that everyone should be proud of. I can give several examples of how HR has no idea what they are doing and when they say that they will look into your concerns, you know that that is just a way to get you off their back. I am embarrassed that I recommended Riverview as a good place to work and then to have them treated poorly.
We HAD been happy with the services we have received at Riverview...until recently. After delivering our second child there in October, and spending literally THOUSANDS of dollars with them over the years, we recently found out we were turned in to collections when my wife called to make a payment. Keep in mind, we have been making monthly payments (min. $150) since December. Not to mention separate payments to the anesthesiologist and OB/GYN (who we love). Just boggles my mind that they would do this, without warning, to cu... read more
