Being an active duty spouse we see our share of docs. We just moved here in July and I've only seen my Family doc 1 time before having to be referred to doctor Pippenger for a very large Dermoid Tumor. He removed the Tumor and I have never been so satisfied! From the very first nurse Darnell that got me ready for surgery, Jessica who took me to surgery Doctor P and all his amazing staff!! All of my Drs are at Riverview and I usually get good care. My mother has been taken care of very well. Only issue I have, and i addressed it with the Mgt. Is one ER dr. The nurses are usually great I have noticed they are usually under staffed in nurses and assistances. They work hard between patients! Food sucks but that's normal.
Omg if this hospital ends up killing my mom due negligence and sends her home when she is in no state to be. You will be hearing from my lawyer.
Be watchful of the accounting department!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They cannot get anything straight! They kept sending me bills for things I have already paid and today I found out the reason is they were transferring payments to another account that I was paying -WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have wasted hours and hours of my time trying to get this straight and even sent me a threat to to send me to collections for THEIR MISTAKE. Went there for an out patient procedure...felt like I wasn't just a number...great staff and doctors...very very kind....
A wonderful and caring staff. As a volunteer, I have witnessed many acts of caring and love towards patients and other staff.
First let me say my doctor & staff at my PCP & Pediatrician offices are absolutely wonderful! HOWEVER, the Riverview billing process & staff are not. I'm more than happy to pay my medical bills....but not when they are wrong. I have tried to work with this department for months & they still can't seem to correct the issues.... I hate to loose my fantastic doctors because of this but I think it's time to find new ones. Do better Riverview!!!
Worst experience ever with a medical group! Our doctor was unable to follow simple instructions on a health insurance form we needed for a reduced insurance premium, which ended up costing us hundreds of dollars! After trying to work something out with the billing department its clear that this company cares nothing about the satisfaction of their customers!
