RecommendedI call myself a Riverside girl because I always prefer it over the other options but I’ve had two recent ER visits which were not great. Most recent was with a friend who was brought in by ambulance. She stayed overnight in the ER and was discharged the next day even though she could not stand on her own and had no family or caregivers to assist. Patient care has gone down so much since I worked in the ER. I chose to have Eric take me to the ER instead of taking the ambulance (even though I had a legit reason to). I do not like to take an ambulance out of service for others if I’m perfectly capable of getting to the hospital myself. The ER department needs some serious improvement. 2.5 hours in the waiting room (so far) and still not taken back to see a Dr. for a serious issue with a person on immunosuppressants. Website said hour wait so knew it would be busy, but this is totally ridiculous. What happened to the urgent care section that took the non emergencies like kids with a cold and people with migraines?
