I recently spent an unexpected 5 days on the 4th floor of the new surgical pavilion. What a marvelous nursing staff you have on that floor! I could not have received better or more compassionate care from all of them as well as MRI staff, GI lab staff, and each doctor that visited from the surgical staff. Many thanks to each of you !!

A little over a year ago I fell off a ladder and tore everything in my right shoulder plus my bicep tendon. Excellent care in the ER and my surgeon Dr. Kling put me back together and ensured I received the needed rehabilitation. I can't thank him enough, I have full range of motion, which I wasn't sure I would get, 10 anchors for repair. My golf game is back to before the accident. Thank you Dr. Kling.

I delivered my daughter there in December. I may have waited to long to get there because I delivered in L&D triage. My nurse Jenny was amazing. She was firm but caring, understanding, calm, confident, and reassuring, just to name a few. The entire staff was awesome. Postpartum I was treated awesome as well. The lactation consultant that I had was very knowledgeable but not pushy. The Doctor that I saw is also amazing. She allowed me to feel comfortable in my choices to VBAC. In the spirit of giving, Riverside has given me a bill that was sent to COLLECTIONS without a single piece of information received about this bill. I was 19 years old when this bill came about and never received a single piece of mail or phone call. No one in the billing department or financial department will help me. Completely sickening when they’re suppose to be a “charitable” hospital.

I'm in the hospital as we speak naked no one has bought me a gown yet they have ignored my call be they suppose to check my ostomy bag every hour and haven't then make you feel bad when you say something. it's unfair to a person who is sick trying to get well to be ignored they never take responsibility and blame the patients for there wrong doings. I hate it here should have went to norfolk general. someone save me please j need a gown.

The care here has been beyond expectations. The staff is friendly, professional and very attentive. Every single employee that has come into my daughters room here in the SICU has been so quiet as to slow her to get some sleep now that she’s on good pain meds etc.. I feel very relieved and I believe she is getting excellent care.

DO NOT go to this medical center. I am having excruciating contractions every 3 minutes but because I’m not progressing enough they wanted to discharge me. I told them I was waiting on my mom to come help me with how much pain I am in- who was on her way, only 10 min down the road. They told me if I didn’t get dressed and out then and there when I had JUST signed my discharge papers, they would call security on me- pregnant and contracting. Dr. Karen Fish. Labor and delivery.
