I had an unexpected visit to the hospital. From the ER staff to the floor staff when I was admitted, everyone did great! Due to my status when I arrived, there was no hesitancy to get vital signs and an IV hooked up. I was hurried back to a room and ready to get a STAT CT. The nurses and techs helped comfort me just by talking to me and rubbing my back when I couldn’t stop vomiting. The staff were nice and courteous but they rushed me through the ER. About a week after my accident I found out I had a broken rib and now I'm being sent out for an MRI on my knee due to swelling and pain 5 weeks after the accident. All Riverside did was an Xray of the knee and wrote down in my records that there was no tissue damage which an Xray does not show.
I just delivered my second child here and was impressed yet again! I came in with contractions and a difficult medical history regarding pregnancy/delivery, and the staff erred on the side of caution and decided to keep me and induce labor. Start to finish my experience was fantastic! My midwife Kelli and my nurse Lori were amazing, and got me through a tough delivery. I’ll never forget them and am so thankful for them! I came in with back spasms, couldn't walk, had to call 911. I was discharged, still cant walk, no tests ran, no pain meds given, no notification that I was being discharged, was wheeled out at emergency room exit. Where I still am waiting for someone to get off work to get me. Still in tremendous pain, still can't walk, yet, they did NOTHING!!!!!

Yesterday I was admitted to Riverside for emergency gallbladder surgery. Dr. Newcomb was awesome. The nurses on the forth floor in the 4500 wing were terrific. They took great care of me and their service was incredible. I know times are stuff right now with the pandemic. I appreciated everything they did for me. They do NOT clean rooms between patients. They dont give updates even if you are in the ER room for hours. Expect a wait and no sympathy
I went there on July 10, 2020 due to extreme pain in my back that was radiating through my thigh, down my calf and in to my toes. The nurses were helpful. The doctor in the emergency room wasn't helpful at all. 1st off the room had a dirty yellow jacket hanging up behind the door and a band aid on the floor. The doctor treated me as if I was there trying to get high on pills or something. no urine samples were taken. No blood work. No x-rays.. No MRI.. NOTHING.
