Recommendedwe were here for a dance conference/competition, but i was able to enjoy the wonderful amenities of the hotel while here... an awesome enjoyable experience!
We've always loved this beautiful hotel. We love being in the heart of downtown, that everything we had planned was connected without having to go outside,, and when we did everything was right out the door walking distance. We stayed here for Transiberian Orchestra on December 30'th , which is my birthday / wedding Anniversary to my husband. We had the best time. Maurice was the best bartender in the lobby. He was very helpful w/ recommendations.

We originally booked the Renaissance for our hotel block for our guests, which was a fairly easy experience overall. Our coordinator Erica was helpful, prompt, and responsive when we had some problems with Marriott's reservation system. In addition, she and Patrice were very helpful when we had people call last minute to get rooms within the block. The over abundance of beautiful Christmas decorations did not fail to please. This entire hotel is old world and over the top. The bar tenders at the Lobby Court are EXCELLENT.

Great Atmosphere and very Professional Staff — with Kenyon Johnson.
Poor service. He was nice but I waited an hour in the restaurant to get service and when I did I never received utensils. On my way out I stopped at the bar to get my own napkins. In the room the phone, iron and coffee maker did not work. The solution to the nonworking heat was a space heater. There is no microwave or refrigerator in the room. It is unfortunate because it is a beautiful hotel that is poorly managed.
