Stayed at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel over last weekend. Hotel was nice and all but the billing was outlandish and we're still feeling the repercussions. Our credit card was charged nearly $900 for nothing related to our actual stay. We already were billed for the 2 nights. So how does the hotel account for the additional charge? Very poor customer service when it comes to resolving issues. I used my reward points to cover the cost and was given a small room with very poor lighting. Also I wasn't told a incidental fee of $50 per day is charged at the time of check-in. Most hotels charge the actual incidental cost incurred at checkout. I was grossly over charged.

We attended a conference in the hotel over the weekend. They did an excellent job meeting the conference needs. Although we had some issues due to reservation problems, the staff, and especially Gabriel Levine, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and met our needs. Even Deanna in housekeeping far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is gorgeous. Our room was spacious. The staff was courteous and helpful. If we end up in Cleveland again, we would look here first. Thank you for an enjoyable visit!
It smells old other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Me and my husband just stay there for our 5 year Anniversary.I was nervous to stay after I read some of the reviews but this is a beautiful hotel. The staff is amazing and super friendly. I found the room to be very clean and updated quite nicely. Temp of room was perfect and bed was super comfortable. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone who plans a trip to Cleveland! We celebrated our 24th Anniversary this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until we left the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Very charming hotel with a convenient location to restaurants, shopping and casino.

The hotel is beautiful staff is great! However we had a screaming baby in the room adjoining ours the baby screamed for over an hour at night and we were woke up early by the same! Not a pleasant experience.

My wife and booked a night to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary and was disappointed. The hotel is beyond beautiful but I feel we were overcharged for the closet you call a room. The room was disgustingly hot. The ac unit did little to help seeing as we turned it on and left the room for a number of hours, when we returned after ten (7 hours after check in) it was still well over 80 degrees. Outstanding staff !!! Every single employee I dealt with; valet parking, bellhop, front desk, bartender, greeter and wait staff at restaurant, all did an excellent job at taking care of any need. First class place with clean comfortable rooms and a convenient downtown location. I'd recommend The Renaissance Cleveland to anyone!
